A complex building replacement currently underway in one of the most prestigious areas of Versilia, in Tuscany. Nevertheless, this new construction, with a fully contemporary imprint, gathers and re-proposes themes and materials which are typical of the local traditions of building, even though these traditions are now being implemented within a new \u201clanguage\u201d which is being consciously updated.<\/p>\n
The geometric cleanliness of the two volumes that make up the villa is referred to the large blocks of marble that for over two thousand years have descended towards the sea from the many quarries that lie just a few kilometers from here. The base of the larger of the two “blocks” that makes up the building is covered with huge blocks of “split” travertine to underline in an uncompromising fashion the very deep relationship between the house and its surrounding area and with what, more than anything else, characterizes its life and culture: marble.<\/p>\n

The new Villa, located near one of the corners of the building area, gives more space to the main part of the area and allows for the creation of a large green area in which there is also a long swimming pool which highlights and reflects the size and volume of the house which is arranged on two levels. The two facades look onto the view outside and around the building and are almost devoid of openings to satisfy the demand for maximum privacy and easy use of the green areas. On the other hand, from the inside, the house opens out completely towards the sun with very large glass surfaces through which the inside and the outside lose their respective borders.<\/p>\n

Un complesso intervento di sostituzione edilizia in corso di realizzazione in una delle zone pi\u00f9 pregiate della Versilia.
La nuova costruzione, di piena impronta contemporanea, tuttavia raccoglie e ripropone temi e materiali tipici della tradizione costruttiva locale seppure declinati all\u2019interno di un linguaggio consapevolmente attualizzato.
La pulizia geometrica dei due volumi che compongono la villa rimanda ai grandi blocchi di marmo che da oltre duemila anni scendono verso il mare dalle tante cave che si incontrano a pochi km da questo luogo.
Il basamento del maggiore dei due \u201cblocchi\u201d che compongono la costruzione \u00e8 rivestito con enormi blocchi di travertino \u201cspaccato\u201d per denunciare senza compromessi il profondo rapporto della casa con il proprio territorio e con ci\u00f2 che, pi\u00f9 di ogni altra cosa, ne caratterizza la vita e la cultura: il marmo.<\/p>\r\n[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][et_pb_column type=\"1_2\" _builder_version=\"4.3.4\"][et_pb_text _builder_version=\"4.3.4\" header_2_text_color=\"#666666\" hover_enabled=\"0\"]
La nuova villa, disposta in prossimit\u00e0 di uno degli angoli dell\u2019area edificabile, libera la parte principale dell\u2019area e consente la creazione di una grande superficie a verde nella quale trova posto anche una lunga piscina che sottolinea ed accompagna il volume principale della casa disposto su due livelli.
I due prospetti rivolti verso l\u2019esterno dell\u2019area sono pressoch\u00e9 privi di aperture per soddisfare la richiesta della ricerca della massima privacy e la semplicit\u00e0 di fruizione delle aree verdi.
