This is a building recovery of a top floor of a medieval building with relative elevation and terrace built at the beginning of the last century. The intervention was intended to give a new and rational distribution system emphasising the historical significance of the property without sacrificing the contemporaneity of the intervention. The old stairwell, the wooden frameworks of the roof and the floors, the wall textures are thus recovered, whilst the new interventions are underlined by technical and contemporary materials. The relationship with the extraordinary urban context in which the terrace of the living area is located is enhanced by the new glass wall that dematerialises to create a continuity between the inside and the outside.
