The apartment is located on the top floor of a building built in the 1960’s within the first circle of the Florence inner ring road. The apartment has been created out of a total redistribution of the interior spaces. The objective of expanding the perception of the living area without losing the functional requisites of the individual areas is achieved through the zeroing  of the distribution spaces and the demolition of some internal partitions. The attention is focused on the double-sided fireplace which, in addition to being a diaphragm with respect to the dining area, enables – by means of an electrified mechanism – for the TV screen to be either hidden or shown.
