Villa 350 sq.m + Outside Areas – Marina di Grosseto

The villa dates back to the early years of the last century and is one of the few remaining vestiges of the seafront of Marina di Grosseto after its demolition during the 1960’s. The property was in a state of high decay with the exception of the facade, typical of contemporary villas in the Grosseto area, covered with a dense texture of exposed brick.

This peculiarity has made it possible to preserve its main feature and to underline the series of arched openings through the use of new-generation windows which, thanks to the minimum profile and the choice of full-leaf mirrors, has emphasised the relationship with the marine context which the Villa overlooks. The internal system has undergone a total redistribution aimed at the liveability of both the attic rooms and the lower-level rooms. The creation of the large entrance vestibule and the new central staircase as the focal point of the entire intervention made it possible to emphasise the necessary scenography and rationally distribute the spaces by supporting the various functions. Particular attention has been paid to the use of precious and personalised materials such as floors, wood panelling finishes and custom-made furnishings without ever surrendering to an abandonment of such a contemporary feel and style.
